Where to begin…I met my best friend at college in Utah and soon after we married and made Colorado our home. Together we have four kids, they are my world and where I find my inspiration to dig deep. They are also the reason I feel right at home with any type of chaos a photo session can sometimes cause (because I live it daily lol). God is a major part of our lives, I go grocery shopping when I’m out of chips and salsa, live for being active outdoors, and I love to travel…although I’m perfectly content right at home as well.
Photography has always been a passion. However, meeting you and telling your story, is easily the best part about my job. All I ask is that you bring your true selves and be ready to enjoy your loved ones. Let me bring your story to life, and help you see the beauty in even the small, everyday moments.
As a native to Utah, and then spending the last 17 years in Colorado, my roots run deep for mountains, open fields, wildlife, raw nature, golden light, and emotive shadows. I describe my style as “when light meets moody”.
What makes me different? I’m not in it for me, and I’m not cookie cutter. If you don’t want to wear something or pose a certain way…totally okay! I’m here to tell YOUR story and to find the beauty in any situation. I go with the flow and don’t have a strict plan. I try to shoot by how it “feels” and be in the moment. Connection is always what I’m striving for. I’m pretty simple, I don’t like a lot of extra fluff and that’s why my packages and deliverables are pretty straight forward. That said, I’m totally down to take control, guide you with your outfits, find great locations/lighting opportunities, and ease your stress in any way.
I’m forever a student of light! I pride myself in continuing my photography education though online mentorships, in-person workshops with high-profiled photographers, and 10+ years of experience. I’m confident I can direct you, help you feel comfortable in front of the lens, and tell your story in a unique/visual way.
